They need to lock stuff into their own ecosystems eg Game Pass, Xbox and Windows. Doing this sort of stuff is just eroding consumer trust and all console players will slowly transfer over to other consoles that offer everything. PC somewhat does the job, but taking on Steam is near impossible. They need to understand that they aren't offering an alternative proprietary entry point other than a console. I think Xbox would be incredibly stupid to start mixing their messaging even further by doing that with the latter two, but Xbox are being incredibly stupid with their messaging about diversifying Xbox as a brand. You could even make an argument for something internal like Pentiment, and at a stretch, Hi-Fi Rush.
